Platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy is an increasingly popular treatment that involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient, processing it through a centrifuge, and injecting it back into the treatment area. PRP is often used as a purely medical treatment in order to promote healing and reduce inflammation, but has cosmetic uses as well.
